Technology and Education

Technology tools
Every student wants teachers to use technology in the classroom. So, if you want your students motivated, interested in your classes, do it!!!  Never fear – there are easy ways to bring your classroom up-to-date, technologically. I love to use Microsoft Power Point to create review games based on famous game shows, including activities, texts, questionnaire etc

Currently , the use of new technologies is part of the daily lives of students and teachers . For this reason , it is necessary to its incorporation in educational practice , to use the computer as an educational tool , designed to develop the learner 's autonomy and ability to socialize and build knowledge.
This work aims to present an account of educational experience in which some media have been used as an innovative practice in class during English classes , aiming to develop practical actions interactivity with a foreign language with the 4 abilities, Listening, writing, speaking and reading.

With the technological advancements and the arrival of the twenty-first century , the school can not ignore the need to adapt to technological development. It should work with software, interactive blackboard, games, videos, pictures and sound

On the other hand, we use the computer as an educational tool . According to this embodiment, the computer is no longer an instrument that teaches the learner , but the tool with which the student develops something , so learning takes place by the fact that you are running a task via computer . Examples of this type processing programs , spreadsheet , database manipulation , music production , communication and use of the computer network .

The first approach shows that the teacher ceases to be the transmitter of knowledge, since the computer can perform this task yourself . The teacher's role today is much more challenging : he classes the school also participated with their presentations in order to work on cultural diversity and promote interaction between students and the community.

We learn when we interact with others and the world and then , when internalized , when we turn inward , making our own synthesis , our reunion the outside world with our personal development (Moran , 2008).
For younger students it’s a natural fit, as young people usually have a higher comfort level with technology than many adults. Tools exist today to allow your students to create really professional looking work using a desktop computer. No matter what your skill level, integrating technology in the classroom offers the chance to increase student interest and teach valuable professional skills – and have some fun!
